Madison grew up in Wallingford, Pennsylvania. She first started doing research during her undergraduate years at Temple University, where she worked under Dr. Peter I. Lelkes, focusing on biocompatible electrospun scaffolds for tissue regeneration. She then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing an Internal Medicine Preliminary Year at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital.

At PennLINC, Madison is a research assistant on the Synthesis of Psychedelic Research Studies (SYPRES) project. She is interested in the mechanisms underlying alterations in consciousness and pain perception, as well as the potential applications and safety of psychedelics in medicine. Following her time at PennLINC, Madison will continue her residency training in Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Outside of the hospital, Madison loves spending time with her family and friends, exploring different arts and crafts, and running on the Schuylkill River trail.
