Brooke Sevchik

Data Analyst

B.S.

Duke University

Brooke is from Charlotte, NC, and graduated from Duke University in 2024 where she studied Neuroscience and Spanish. In undergrad, she worked in a lab focusing on cognitive control and executive functioning, where she completed her senior honors thesis on the influence of anxiety and threat on cognitive map learning. She also loved being a TA and teaching Psychology 101 discussion sections. At PennLINC, Brooke works with Dr. Singleton on SYPRES to create living meta-analyses on psychedelics as treatment for mental health disorders, and with the neuroinformatics team to curate a longitudinal dataset focused on transdiagnostic executive function. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, baking, going to workout classes, and going to restaurants.

Fun Facts

    1) Probably drinks 50 gallons of matcha a year
    2) Studied abroad in Madrid twice!
    3) Once won a radio contest in the 5th grade and met Taylor Swift
