Ted recently was lucky to receive the Perelman School of Medicine's 2018 Dean’s Award for Excellence in Basic Science Teaching. One of his medical students stated that, “Dr. Satterthwaite possesses an unparalleled passion for teaching and is able to share knowledge in a manner that is accessible, clear and high-energy.” This award was established in 1987 to recognize teaching excellence and commitment to medical student teaching in the basic sciences.
