We are all incredibly proud of third year research-track psychiatry resident, Sheila Shanmugan MD/PhD, who has received multiple awards. In the second half of 2020 alone, Sheila:
*Received the highly competitive NIH Loan Repayment Program grant, which reduces student debt to ensure that highly talented trainees stay in research.
*Has been named one of this year's Outstanding Psychiatry Residents by the National Institute of Mental Health
*Was awarded an EPSP pilot grant from the Department of Psychiatry *Was named a winner of the a merit travel award from the Society of Biological Psychiatry
