Congrats to graduating lab members

It is with both pride and some sadness that we say goodbye to two superb members of the team who are leaving this summer: Diego Davila-Feliciano and Anna Xu. Diego initially joined the lab in Fall 2017 as a Clinical Research Coordinator, but Diego transitioned to a role as a data analyst when he successfully competed for a pre-doctoral NIMH Research Fellowship (Supplement to Promote Diversity). In addition to contributing to two papers in the lab, he is completing a project he led examining how behavioral inhibition is linked to functional network abnormalities in youth.  As of this summer, he transitioned to the neuroscience PhD program at Penn.

Anna joined the lab in 2018, and her main work has focused on meta-analyses of neuroimaging studies of pain. During her time in the lab, she wrote two first author papers: one on brain responses to pain in healthy volunteers (Xu et al., Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews 2020), and one examining pain responses in patients with chronic pain (Xu et al., Under Review).   She is now a neuroscience PhD candidate at Stanford.

Many congrats to both Diego and Anna on their many accomplishments; we wish them all the best and continued success in the next phase.
