You know your lobbying game is strong, when a republican congressman wants to steal your talking point about the significance of mental health research!

What a great experience to advocate for funding towards basic science research with these fine folks from universities across Pennsylvania on the Capitol Hill with AAAS! At two senators and five congress(wo)men office meetings, we successfully made our case for the broad impact of taxpayer-funded research and the importance of bipartisan support for sustained research funding.

And thanks to University of Pennsylvania for sponsoring us!
