Many congrats to post-doctoral fellow Antonia Kaczkurkin, who will be joining the faculty of the Psychological Sciences at Vanderbilt University as a tenure-track Assistant Professor. This culminates Toni's incredibly productive time in the lab, which included three first-author papers in Biological Psychiatry, as well as first-author papers in The American Journal of Psychiatry, Molecular Psychiatry, and Cerebral Cortex. While in the lab, she successfully competed for a NIMH Research Supplement to Promote Diversity, NARSAD Young Investigator Award, and a NIMH K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award. We are all incredibly proud of Toni!!!! Her lab focuses on understanding the neurobiological mechanisms that contribute to the etiology of internalizing disorders using multi-modal techniques (MRI / EEG/ physiology), and she is currently accepting graduate students.
