Kahini Mehta grew up in Mumbai, India, and came to the United States to pursue an education at Brown University. While initially interested in journalism, she soon became drawn to psychology/neuroscience through her experience with clinical populations. She is primarily focused on computational/neuroimaging approaches towards cognitive markers of disorders.

In her free time, Kahini enjoys reading, writing, and playing badminton.
