Clinical Research Coordinator
Kahini Mehta grew up in Mumbai, India, and came to the United States to pursue an education at Brown University. While initially interested in journalism, she soon became drawn to psychology through her experience with clinical populations. She is primarily interested in mood and anxiety disorders - more specifically, depression. Kahini's approach towards psychology is computational and quantitative. In the last two years of her undergraduate career, she researched meditative interventions for depression and integrated treatments for co-occurring mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders.
In her free time, Kahini enjoys reading, writing, playing guitar, and badminton.
